A handsome prize for Giuan da Pas 2013

Our Roero Arneis Docg GIUAN DA PAS 2013 has won top honours with QUATTRO VITI in the ninth edition of Vitae, La Guida Vini (The Vitae Wine Guide) published by the Italian Sommelier Association.

The wine, dedicated to Giovanni da Pace, is a Roero Arneis suitable for lengthy cellaring.

Giovanni, son of Bernardino, purchased the estate in 1934. Now, decades later, the fourth generation of winemakers are carrying the enterprise forward, guided by Dino and Pietro.

2013 has given us an incredible, fascinating wine with notes of mint, bay leaf, white flowers, and then a drift of fruit presaging an animated and exciting palate. This wine is balanced and taut, with a clean, yet incredibly tasty finish.
